The sea is an extremely difficult painting topic. Unfortunately, as a pretty aesthetically pleasing sea view is a topic heavily abused. From the images seen on the streets of coastal towns to the packaging of children's crayons. Such a wide and widespread use of the theme of the sea gave birth to a lot of stereotypes. Therefore, the image of the sea is associated negatively as simple, kitschy, over-talked. What's more - unfortunately even the great masters of impressionism paradoxically did not help the sea. What used to be original, unique and revealing became popular over time, shown too often, and people took on a negative attitude to these works. For example, the famous painting Impression - sunrise by Claud Monet. It is a perfect example of extremely brave, undoubtedly unique and artistic work. Unfortunately, however, time has completely changed the perception and character of this image. Reproduced in millions of copies, from calendars to children's paint packages, the picture has become a symbol of kitsch.
